Common Mistakes to Avoid

To avoid problems, it is important to carefully follow the requirements of the consulate and prepare all the necessary documents in advance.

1. Expired Passport

Applying with a passport that has expired or expires within 6 months.

2. Errors in the application form

Incorrect completion of the visa application form, especially in the fields on the purpose of travel, duration of stay and personal data.

3. Lack of correct invitation

A business, private or work visa requires an official invitation from an organization or individual, and its absence or an error in the data leads to refusal.

4. Incorrect visa dates

Specifying dates that do not match the invitation or tickets may result in rejection.

5. Photo mismatch

Using an inappropriate photo (wrong size, background, facial expression) can delay the processing.

6. Lack of medical insurance

Some types of visas require insurance with coverage in Russia, but applicants often forget to get it.

7. Incomplete document package

Lack of passport copies, old visas, proof of consular fee payment or other required paperwork.

8. Errors in the passport

Damaged, expired passport or passport with insufficient validity period (less than 6 months after the planned departure).

9. Wrong visa category

Applying for a tourist visa when traveling for business purposes or vice versa may result in denial.

10. Violation of the rules of stay in the past

If the applicant has previously violated the terms of stay in Russia or had problems with Russian visas, this may affect the decision.

11. Late submission of documents

Submitting the application too late does not leave time to correct possible errors, which leads to a refusal or delay.

St. Petersburg palaces snowy Russia– that is where I dreamed of coming one day. When I saw the visa process though…so lost. The official site was written in code, I went to fear and making a mistake…

And my friend showed me something called Visabot. It was basically nothing but oh my god, this was a ***hen. I submitted my docs and clicked on a couple more simple forms, they did the rest out of their accord.

They even let me know that my pic was wrong resolution and they literally fixed it for me in seconds!

3 days later, I received my e-visa in an email. I honestly cannot believe that

I am writing this from a tiny café in Moscow and all, Just Thank You THIS IS VERY UNDERSTOOD My creation of an impossible something was so simple I thought I Should NOT believe.

I did not need to go on any agents or embassy. Gold Service

Guys, I came really close to giving up on taking a trip to Russia. It happened. I was trying to complete the form on the official website for two hours but it kept crashing. I decided to call a travel agent, who, by the way, asked for ₹5,500 to help me fill it out. After that, by chance, I found Visabot due to a YouTube comment (really unintended, I know). They had a website that was aesthetic, and besides, they even had a WhatsApp number. Therefore, I gave it a try. The entire process was VERY easy. Not only did they verify my photo, but they also informed me about the discrepancies in my passport scan, and anyway, I didn’t have to understand the Russian form fields because they had already translated it. I received my e-visa in 72 hours. I was so happy that I got up from my chair. I downloaded it, took a flight to Russia, and the outcome was outstanding. Now I’m thinking about the next season. Visabot, you guys are simply amazing!

The Russian government website was a little confusing, especially with the technical terms. Visabot made the process smooth and professional. The manner in which I was

guided every step of the way was greatly appreciated. True, the thing is it was more expensive than I was planning, but the comfort and not having to worry about was that amount of money really were worth it. I have already told my colleague about it.

I first tried the official website when I got bugs more than once. It was the Visabot that the offered and it just worked. The form was clearer and they helped check my documents before sending them. It was not the cheapest but definitely the most efficient and links Having received the visa, "I was also appreciative of the follow-up."
